ASIS Serbia and ACFE Serbia partnership

At the end of February, ASIS Serbia Chapter held a meeting where Miroslava Gaćeša and Marija Radovanović, representing ACFE Serbia, were invited as special guests. Miroslava Gaćeša presented the global research conducted by ACFE, which was featured in Report to Nations 2024. ASIS Serbia’s invitation to participate in organizing the event stemmed from the mutual need for both associations to collaborate on preventing financial crime and strengthening security measures. ASIS Serbia, a global association that began its operations in Serbia relatively recently, received support from ACFE Serbia in addressing security measures within companies.

By sharing expertise and best practices, representatives from both associations emphasized that resilience is enhanced, ethical values are promoted, and a safer business environment is nurtured. Through their collaboration, the vision and commitment to strengthening security, as well as preventing fraud and corruption in both the business world and society, were reinforced. It was highlighted that the exchange of knowledge and experiences is essential for improving business performance and mitigating losses.

The meeting concluded with the official establishment of cooperation between the two associations. It was agreed that we would work together to promote professions that advocate for ethical and moral values in business.
