Training “Fraud and Forensics in Practice – Cases, Challenges and Ethics” Held in Skopje
At the invitation of the Institute of Internal Auditors North Macedonia (IIA North Macedonia) and the Institute of Certified Auditors, Ivana Njagojević, CIA, CFE, member of ACFE Serbia, delivered a full-day training on “Fraud and Forensics in Practice – Cases, Challenges and Ethics” in Skopje.
The training gathered more than 220 participants, including internal and external auditors, as well as risk and control professionals. Around 70 participants attended the event in person, while over 150 joined online.
The program covered topics related to internal fraud investigations, forensic methodologies, ethical dilemmas faced by auditors, and interdepartmental cooperation during investigations. A special part of the session was dedicated to real-life case studies and practical examples, followed by a dynamic discussion on the challenges auditors face in their daily work.
